About the Founder
Carlyn Stech, COTA/L, CAPS, CFPS
With over 10 years of experience in occupational therapy, Carlyn is dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities regain and maintain their independence. Her expertise also includes home safety assessments, environmental modifications, and DME recommendations. As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and Certified Fall Prevention Specialist (CFPS), Carlyn is passionate about enabling safe aging at home. She has extensive experience working with chronic conditions, balance and vision impairments, and mobility challenges, with a strong focus on fall prevention and creating home environments that fit individual needs. This commitment to enhancing safety and independence inspired her to found Adapt for Aging.
